Magic
Magic is nothing more than an explanation for the unexplainable. Magic starts where science isn’t understood (yet). There is no magic in Daleth, no wizards, no mages, no witches. Anybody calling him/herself a wizard/witch/mage is laughed at. There is no such thing as magic....
...but...
...on moonlit nights when the owls howl in the deep forest and mice hide in their holes, magic might creep up in someones mind, and the invisible, even the unthinkable, might become visible for the eye of the believer.
Yes, everybody knows there is no such thing as magic, but that is only logic. When things are no longer logic, magic must be believed, and retold, and argued about, and then be retold again next to granny’s warm fireplace, where everything seems safe and sound.
And outside, the wind howls with the owls....
