This is one of the tiny creatures that has been spotted in Daleth- but no one knows what it is - they call them Kromels. The creature roams the fields of De Erflanden, especially in harvest season. Some people say it is a wheat spirit, leaving its house in the fields to spend the cold time elsewhere and then returning in spring. There are farmers who offer gifts to these creatures in spring, so they will return and protect the land as they did in the year before.
It is not known if this creature has anything to do with the Molik-cult. There doesn't seem to be any relation between the two.
The Kromel lives on wheat corns and rainwater. Sometimes they build nests in the fields that are found by the farmers, and sometimes they manage to create strange signs in the fields with a meaning no one understands.
Of course, children are not allowed to walk in the fields, they might step on a Kromel by accident, which will cause a bad harvest. Adults have to be careful as well. Only adolescents don't seem to harm the Kromels, but then, they are amazingly fertile after entering a field full of wheat.
