'Ujazim

Recently, it was discovered the old people who lived in Salamandran and are usually called "Giants" called themselves 'Ujazim. A short history of these people has been found in the Luban desert.

The text is on a piece of metal, goldplated. The script is square, which is known to be the script of the Giants, although the language used is not the same as that is known. It looks a lot older.
It says that the 'Ujazim are looking for the world they have left behind. They are longing to get back again. The text is written centuries after they arrived from another world. They mention Daletim as the place they arrived on this world. Daletim is also a word on the Wegwijzer.
A sentence tells about a war against another people, the Salil. The Salil had a large city with a road to the world of the 'Ujazim. However, the powers of the Salil destroyed the road and the whole of the city. The Salil all had gone, leaving the ruins to the 'Ujazim. The 'Ujazim were afraid the Salil invaded the world they had left behind. But one of their largest heroes had been taken hostage by the Salil, with a handfull of faithful men.
The cultus of the 'Ujazim is about that hero, whose name stays unclear, and the few faithful. By praying and sacrificing to a god, they want the hero to find a way back, or, more fundamental, to find a portal so they all can go back to where they came from.

It is believed the 'Ujazim eventually found their way back. That would explain their rather sudden disappearance from Daleth.
Daletim might refer to the portal that is found in Cîniz, in Doravor.
The large city of the Salil was most probably situated on the bank of the Wyz. There have been found ruins of an 'Ujazim city called Qryathorbot, which means "Near ruins". These ruins might be that of the Salil city.
The old legend of how the Half of the World (the Wyz Canyon) was created might refer to the powers that broke free when the Salil used the road or portal and so destoyed their city.
