The Age of Myths

It is not known to scientists how Airtha came into existence. They think the world is very, very old, and that vast changes on the surface have covered the relicts of older times. They leave the creation of the world to the myths.

The myths tell that the world and everything on and near it was created by a sound. This myth is common among the Poorters, the Naglani and the Sudzi, and similar myths are told in Fanigawi and Luban. The idea of a sound, or primal scream, at the beginning of All, might bear some truth.

The next phase in the history of the world is also unclear to scientists. In the myths, this is the era in which the gods ruled over the world and finally created human beings. The era is very popular in myths, many stories are told about the deeds of the gods. Even new books from modern writers are set in this era, with all new stories about the divine adventures. A daring author even introduced the God of Steam in the earliest era of the world.

The mythic era ends with the discovery of the oldest artifacts in Daleth. This hailed a new era, that of the first humans.
