Grapevine in Isater
There are four regions in Daleth were grapevines provide good grapes for wine. These regions are Isater, Altheizar, Haimothli and Ciniz. The Isater region is separated into three districts. The wine from a specific region or district has a particular taste. Therefore, in the salons and more luxury inns, a range of wines is desired. To provide each customer with the different tastes of wine, a trade net of wine is set out in Daleth. The net is under Imperial control.

Tastes

Isater provides mostly light white wines, the red wines are less wanted. In the sea-district, the wine has a lightly salted taste, that has entered the wine during the process of making. In cheaper wines, some salt has been added. The eastern district of Isater, Bloemenvelden, provides a sweeter wine, that blossoms on the tongue and has a light and fresh aftertaste. The middle district, Isauls Yards, has drier wines, with more force on the tongue and a strong aftertaste.

The Altheizar wines are usually red, ranging from fresh sparking red to dry dark red. These are the cheapest wines in Daleth, due to the weak position of the Overveer politics. The mass product of Altheizar is not popular, many wines have been mixed with water or inferior wines.

from Ciniz
Ciniz is the most northern region for wines. The heavy wines from the north side of the Cin valley are very dark. There are red wines (“Dragon Blood”), with an almost black colour, and the white wines, that are dark as gold. The flavour of these wines is strong and spicy, with a fresh aftertaste. Some of the best Ciniz wines are made from grapes that have been harvested just after the first frost.

The Imperial Grapevines of Haimothli provide the most exclusive wines. More than half of the production goes to the wine cellars of the Imperial Residences. The other half is sold for big money.
The Imperial wines are usually light, with a full flavour. The rose and the white wines can be sparkling, fresh, light, and in some cases very dry. The red wines are sweet and have a seductive flavour.
