The Falwiska are insects that can be seen at dusk. When the sun sets, these creatures come out of their hiding places and fly in the air of the night. They will disappear around midnight. The Falwiska is famous for its glow-in-the-dark body, like small splinters they fly around. It is believed they are the splinters of unborn children, and therefore, they may not be harmed. The insects - the body being about a thumb long - are a light shade of green and have tiny black eyes. The six legs are long and the head has four antennae that are as long as the body. The two wings are frail and heart shaped The hind part of the body is the part that glows in the dark. They eat the honey of the flowers from the Yellow Myl, that smells heavy in the evenings. Temples try to attract these beautiful animals by planting the Yellow Myl in the temple gardens. Related topics: |
