Yeni Kallisasd. the Wild
(1645-1669)

It was in the dark days before the Great War of the United Empires that Yeni was born. Her mother, named Kallisa, a poor washing woman in Wymar, gave birth her daughter on the banks of the river Wyz. Who the father of the child was stays a mystery, it was probably one of the many fisher boys of the city.
Being poor, Yeni grew up with dreams about princesses and a higher standard of life. She played the queen in every play she had with her friends. She was smart as a kid and grew up to be a beautiful woman. She did not go to school, and spent lots of time watching, observing the young women who did have some education. She copied their behaviour.

When the war started in 1663, Yeni had her big break. She was loyal to the Imperial movement, and was asked to help the Empire to keep steady. She had no job, and this was a way to earn some money, so she did it. She was asked to be a spy in the courts of the rebellious cities. Her way of acting and pretending got her very much tangled up in the high society. Her charms seduced men and women, and she spend her days in the houses of the rich and powerful, of generals, intellectuals, rulers... everything she had ever dreamed of.

In the second year of the war, Yeni had a military education in Ildritz. She got more missions every menoth, and survived them well enough. She had a small crew to help her keeping up the appearances, she got a mansion in almost every rebellious city. A well known member of the upper society, she had easy access to the more powerful people in life. It was her act to seduce them, go home with them, make love with them, and pull out any secrets. If things got bad, she would kill them. She has killed at least twenty “lovers”, some in very brutal and rough ways.

As the war reached it’s climax, Yeni got famous for giving very accurate information of the political situation in Salamandran and the movements of the rebellious armies in the Black Mountains. When she told the Emperor of the army that was heading for Wymar, she was honoured as Knight in the Order of the Roaring Dragon. Her fame got her into trouble: she was recognised everywhere. Unable to act as a “passer by”, she went on to do some nightly sabotage in the Salamandran cities.

Although Yeni’s merits lay in seducing the opponent, man or woman, she had one big love. She had married secretly in 1665 to her help (whose true name is unknown, she kept calling him Mr. Darling all her life), and it was kept a secret for many years. However, she didn’t have any children, though it was said she was pregnant a couple of times. She also cared for children, and never killed any.

Yeni the Wild died in full armour in Donvar, 1669. She was executed by former lover and general of the Donvar troupes, who finally figured out Yeni was actual a double-spy: she send information to both the Emperor as well as the rebels in Salamandran. The mission that got her name of Knight in the
Order of the Roaring Dragon was a fake, there was no army heading for Wymar, and as the Imperial Army went to Wymar, there was no one to meet them. The Salamandran troupes had just invaded Gronbrunlar, and were heading to Ildritz. At the same time, Yeni had told the Salamandran generals the Weslanan would attack near Isauls. This way, all armies had split up, met no opponents or went in the wrong direction. It costs millia of skatts to keep up the army, that was tired and less motivated.
The scandalous spy was dishonoured all over Daleth, and she lost -after her death- everything she had. It was her widower and former help who went out in the world to spread her fame once more.

The husband did well. Nowadays, Yeni is a heroin of many books, songs and plays. Her missions are exaggerated to please the public. There are many writers who pick up the stories of the young, beautiful, killing spy, and write fascinating, but untrue stories about her. The Order of the Roaring Dragon has seen many fantastic faces since...
Many a young girl pretends she is Yeni, and acts like Yeni, and waits for a brake like Yeni’s...
