Zee der Stormen It is very hard to cross the stormy sea, many ships have met their end here. Underwater cliffs and rifts, a turmoil of strong streams and maelstroms, and a hard wind have never been ideal to have the Zee der Stormen added to a sea trade route.Ships that need to go to the southern Ocean have been carried over land to avoid this disastrous water. Under unknown circumstances, the storms in this part of the world might grow and threaten the south-eastern part of the World Sea, pulling and blowing ships into the arms of Aaser, without a chance to escape. Only a few ships have survived the destruction by the storms. Numerous legends are told about the Zee der Stormen. Monsters and maniac captains haunt the waves here, a submarine people is housing here and protect its realm, and the place might have been a portal. Some legends might be true, but it is impossible to look for the truth here. he Fanigawans avoid this passage, Dalethians fear it, Lubans stay away. It is true that some tótlawan have been spotted just south of the Zee der Stormen. A well known legend has it that the Zee der Stormen used to be a land bridge between the two continents. One day, a giant tótlawan got stuck under the bridge, or very close to it. When it starved and died, it exploded, thus breaking the bridge and forming the Zee der Stormen. The splinter of the tótlawan is said to haunt the area. Scientist speculate about things from the sky having caused the sea, the round form of it might hint to that. Others think it might be a former fire mountain, like Mount Funins, but then much older, and the fire mouth deep under the water - maybe, they say, the crater has collapsed in prehistoric times.
