West of Dohn on the River Cin is the seaport of the city, known as Pordon. The original port of the city was for the traffic and trade on the river, situated in the middle of the growing town. It was much too small to serve as a seaport, and a seaport was a necessary at the time Vîmeir and other settlements of the coast became more important trade partners for the Weslanan. Pordon was nothing when the Count of Dohn decided the very spot needed to be turned into a harbour. Barracks for the workers were build, and they constructed everything else in the new settlement. The very sober settlement still has some of the old barracks, there are warehouses and offices for the shipping companies. But most of all it is a place for sailors, who stay here only a couple of days before moving on. An industry of entertainment tries to make a few skilliggs before the sailors move on; taverns and purple houses can be found between the warehouses, some legal and open, some illegal and hidden between the docks. Far from the gong of Dohn, and having no gong of it's own, Pordon is much of a lawless place, where no kindins take watch, where no taxes are paid, and generally many drop outs of Dalethian society gather to earn some money in shipping, or the activities surrounding it.
