The Ringôltree is common in Daleth. Many parts of the land are actually too cold for the tree, but near houses it grows quite well. In the northern parts of Daleth the tree is often tied to the southern facade of a stone wall, where it has the most profit of the warmth of Fon.
The tree stays small, and will grow up to 2 fathom high when planted on the right fertile soil and in the south. The wood is useless and usually ridden with vermin, but the fruit of this tree, the ringolets, are very popular. A ringolet is a two thumb long berry, green with bluish dots. The skin is hairy and should be removed before eating, the flesh is bright green. The taste is sweet-sour and it is full of juice. It is used for Akraneins a lot, but is also chopped, put in a mixture of honey and grind tauvàr-nuts, then dried and sold as candy.
